Peter Ghazal

Prof. Peter Ghazal is Head of Division of Pathway Medicine at the University of Edinburgh Medical School. He was Founding Director of the Scottish Centre for Genomic Technology and Informatics and founded one of the first microarray facilities in both the US and UK. He was previously a Fellow of the NIH, Scholar of the American Leukemia Society and Associate Professor at the Scripps Institute with over 10 years experience in microarray analysis. He has co-founded 3 Biotech companies (Arrayjet Ltd., Lab 901 Ltd. and Fios Genomics Ltd.), is a co-inventor on 8 patents, and has an extensive publication record in the genomics field.
