Deborah Waterhouse

Deborah Waterhouse is the Chief Executive Officer of ViiV Healthcare since January 2017, specializing in HIV research and care access. In addition, Waterhouse serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Schroders, contributing to the Nominations and Audit and Risk Committees. Previous roles at GSK from April 1996 to January 2017 include Senior Vice President and Business Unit Head for Primary Care, where leadership spanned the $9 billion Respiratory and Diabetes Commercial Division in the US, as well as roles in the Vaccines business unit and regional leadership for Central and Eastern Europe. Waterhouse's early career involved various positions in sales, marketing, research and development, and human resources at GSK, including leading the HIV division in the UK and Europe. Waterhouse holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and Economic History from the University of Liverpool.
