Naoko Arakawa is an experienced professional in the field of pharmacy and education, currently serving as Interim Education Secretary and Secretary of the Academic Pharmacy Section at the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) since September 2017. Naoko also holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham, alongside previous roles including Assistant Professor in International Pharmacy. Prior to this, Naoko served as International Programme Lead for the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and worked as a Visiting Scientist at University College London. Professional experience includes roles as a Clinical Pharmacist at Yokohama Shin Midori General Hospital and a Pharmacist at Kamome Pharmacy. Naoko's academic qualifications include a PhD in Global Pharmacy Education and an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy, International Practice and Policy from University College London, complemented by a BS in Pharmacy from Meiji Pharmaceutical University.
