Oksana Pyzik is an accomplished academic and practitioner in the field of pharmacy and global health, currently serving as an Associate Professor and Lecturer at UCL since February 2012. Pyzik holds various leadership roles, including UCL Academic Board Member, Global Citizenship Programme Strand Lead, and Global Engagement Lead. In addition to the academic positions, Pyzik is actively involved with SAGE Publishing as an Editorial Board Member and with multiple organizations such as the International Pharmaceutical Federation and the Commonwealth Pharmacists Association, where Pyzik serves as a Board Trustee. Notably, Pyzik founded the UCL Fight the Fakes initiative and held the role of Science Journalist as an ABSW Fellow at The Guardian. Pyzik's research expertise includes competition law and pharmacy regulation, with a strong publication record in academic journals. Educational credentials include a Masters of Pharmacy from UCL and a degree in Teaching and Learning in Higher Professional Education from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society.
