Matt Alphors

Matt Alphors is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fire and emergency services, currently serving as a Director at Minerva Group NZ Ltd since December 2021. Since April 2004, Matt has held multiple roles at Fire and Emergency NZ, including Station Officer, National Operations Manager, and Deputy Squad Leader. In these capacities, Matt has demonstrated strong leadership in managing daily operations, overseeing flight and ground operations under the UAS Program, mentoring new members, and ensuring training delivery aligns with regional and national objectives. Matt's educational background includes a Graduate IFE in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from the International Institute of Fire Engineers, obtained between 2018 and 2019.
