Steve Penney

Steve Penney serves as the Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of Funds Management and Capital Transactions at Kiwi Property since March 2021. In addition, Steve Penney is a qualified firefighter with Fire and Emergency NZ at the Greenhithe brigade since June 2023. Previously, Steve Penney held the position of General Manager - Investment at Stride Property Limited from January 2019 to March 2021, where responsibilities included investment and portfolio management. Prior to this, Steve Penney was an Investment Director at HRL Morrison & Co from January 2013 to December 2018, focusing on investment strategy and asset management across various significant investments. Early career experience includes serving as an Associate Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers from June 2004 to December 2012, advising on large-scale infrastructure projects in New Zealand and Australia. Steve Penney holds a BBS/BSc in Accounting and Computer Science from Massey University, completed from 2001 to 2004.
