Concept Artist at Fire Hose Games

Jack Marquez has a long history of professional experience in the design industry. In 2014, they began their career as an Industrial Design Intern at Wonder Workshop. Jack then moved on to become an Industrial Design Intern at GRAMedical in 2015, AmperVue, Inc. in 2016, and TickTock AI, Inc. in 2017. In 2017, they began working as a Toy Designer at Melissa & Doug, LLC, a role they held until 2020. During this time, they were responsible for designing 30+ toys from concept to production, including two full product lines. In 2021, they became a 2D Artist at Jam City, creating sketch concepts for buildings, vehicles, hard-surface props, terrain elements, alien flora, and adventure level environments. Additionally, they also worked as a Building Kit Designer at Brickmania LLC, designing two scale model Lego brick building kits based on historical vehicles. Finally, they worked as a Freelance Concept Designer in 2022, designing and illustrating combat mech concepts for an unannounced game, as well as conducting form studies and concept refinement for a vehicle toy. Currently, they are a Concept Artist at Fire Hose Games.

Jack Marquez completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2017. In 2019, they earned an Introduction to 3D Concept Art certification from CG Spectrum. Jack has also taken courses from CG Master Academy in Mobile Game Art, Architecture Design, Hardware and Vehicle Design, and Environment Design, as well as courses from Brainstorm School in Entertainment Design and Design with Color and Light.
