Marisol Maloney

Head of Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement at Firebird AST

Marisol Maloney has a long and varied work experience. Marisol began their career in 2002 as a Clinic Manager and Emergency Department Nurse for the US Navy's Naval Hospitals and Clinics, where they were trained in CBRNE medical emergencies and triaged over 1200 patients per month. In 2012, they moved to the Office of Naval Intelligence as a Project Manager and Deputy Head of Intelligence Operations, where they led a global maritime collaboration all source analysis center and created a transnational threats 24/7 operational cell. In 2016, they worked as a Project Manager, Senior Intelligence Officer, and Security Program Manager for the USS ESSEX, where they managed over 3000 security clearances and provided OPSEC training for 300 personnel. Marisol then worked as a Project Manager and Military Exercise and Senior Intelligence Planner for the US Third Fleet. In 2018, they moved to USINDOPACOM as an IT Project Manager, Strategic Speech Writer, and All Source Intelligence Analyst, writing strategic speeches, political-military point papers, and intelligence briefs for the Combatant Commander, Deputy Commander, and Intelligence Director. In 2020, they worked as a Logistics Coordinator for American Greetings, coordinating revision projects for customer accounts and organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation. Marisol also worked as a Cleared Talent Acquisition Specialist and Head of Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement for Firebird Analytical Solutions & Technologies, sourcing hundreds of candidates per month and providing resume reviews and rewrites. In 2021, they became a Freelance Open Source Intelligence Consultant for Soar Technology, Inc., providing subject matter expertise for a $1.8 million project. Finally, in 2022, they began working as a Resume Writer and Military Transition Coach for Secret Squirrel Consulting LLC.

Marisol Maloney has an extensive educational history. Marisol completed a Project Management Professional Course at Syracuse University in 2019. In addition, they hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville University, a Diploma from Joint Forces Staff College for Joint Professional Military Training (JPME) Phase II, a Master of Business Administration from Salve Regina University, and a Diploma from USAF Air Command and Staff College for Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I.
