Shira Cohen

Shira Cohen has an extensive work experience, beginning with a role as a Project Specialist at the Israel Defense Forces in 2002. In 2012, they moved to Teva Pharmaceuticals, where they worked as a Quality Assurance. In 2014, they were a R&D Incentive consultant at EY, and in 2016 they became a Business Consultant at PwC. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Financial and Business Operation Manager at Firedome, where they are responsible for planning and executing strategies, policies, workflows and methodologies, leading the execution of various special projects and initiatives for business improvement, monitoring expense reports, assisting with the payroll process and preparing salaries for employees, responsible for supplier’s payments and agreements, examining financial data and using it to manage budgets and forecasts, managing all grants programs for the company, and managing and supporting day-to-day operations.

Shira Cohen received their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 2011. Shira then went on to complete a CRA and GCP program at bioforum in 2012.
