Wendy McDougall

Wendy McDougall has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Wendy began their career in 1998 at Melville Craig as the Head of IT Contracts. Wendy then moved to Hudson Global where they were the Head of Technology Resourcing in Glasgow. In 2002, they took on a role at TMP Worldwide as the Head of Technology Sector in the UK. After that, they worked at Chelford SAP Solutions as Commercial Director from 2003 to 2009. During that time, they achieved a £1m new business revenue within 12 months and secured 3rd position in the Deloitte Fast 50 Awards Scotland. In 2009, they began their role as a Board Member at ScotlandIS, a trade body for software, telecomms and IT in Scotland. From 2010 to 2014, they were the Chief Fish (CEO & Founder) of Firefish Software, a SaaS company with 55 employees and customers in 25 countries. In 2014, they took on a voluntary role as Regional Director at TEAM (The Employment Agents Movement).

Wendy McDougall completed their Highers from The High School of Glasgow in 1978-1992, studying Maths, English, Computing, Modern Studies, Geography, and Art. Wendy then went on to earn their BA (Hons) in Organisational Management from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University from 1992-1995. In 2013, they attended the Entrepreneurship Development Program at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
