Shea Ferring

Shea Ferring is an accomplished aerospace engineer and leader with over 22 years of experience in operations, technical program leadership, and engineering management. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Engineering at Firefly Aerospace, Shea oversees a team of expert engineers and has been instrumental in securing significant contracts and successful launches. Previous roles include Founder and Chief Operating Officer of M2S2-Technologies, Manager of Technical Programs at Bradford ECAPS, and Commercial Space Chief Engineer at Vencore Inc. Shea's extensive background encompasses satellite and launch vehicle design, propulsion systems, and team leadership across multiple aerospace projects. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s in the same field from the same institution.
