Adam Blakeman

Adam Blakeman is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and transportation industries. Currently serving as the LV Payload and Mechanisms Team Manager at Firefly Aerospace since September 2019, Adam oversees various technical roles including Structures Engineer for mechanisms and payload accommodations. Responsibilities include CubeSat dispenser design and testing management. Before this, Adam worked at VT Hackney, Inc. as a Senior Engineer, leading engineering design efforts for the USPS Next Generation Delivery Vehicle and the Small Delivery Vehicle projects. Adam's early career includes roles as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Contract Engineer, with a focus on product development and engineering efficiency. Adam began the professional journey as an intern at the Office of West Virginia State Treasurer. Adam holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University.
