Coleman McCord

Coleman McCord is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in launch site development and drilling engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Launch Site Development at Firefly Aerospace, Coleman has progressed through various roles including Manager and Lead Fluids Engineer since August 2021. Prior to this, Coleman worked at Chevron for over eight years, taking on positions such as Drilling Engineer, BOP Reliability Engineer, and Field Drilling/Completion Engineer. Coleman's early career includes an Applications Engineering Internship at Baker Hughes and a Senior Technical Internship at CLEAResult. Coleman holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, obtained in 2012.
