Stephen Watzman

Stephen Watzman is a Senior Software Engineer at Firefly Drone Shows, specializing in Python, Typescript, JavaScript, React, CI/CD, AWS, and Docker. Previously, Stephen worked at Arbiter, creating an open-source, serverless realtime conferencing framework and automating AWS cloud infrastructure provisioning. Stephen's experience also includes self-employment, focusing on open-source software development, and a role as a Science and Technology Teacher at Royal Oak Schools, where innovative AP Computer Science courses were developed and student achievement was significantly enhanced. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts in Educational/Instructional Technology from Wayne State University, supplemented by training at Launch School.
