Steven Murray

Steven Murray has had a long and successful career in the corporate world. Steven began their career in 2014 as an Advisory Board Member for Cadence Bank, N.A. and a Principal for 5PE. In 2017, they became the President and CEO of Primus Green Energy, a company that converts natural gas to methanol, as well as a Director for Stream (Stream Energy). In 2019, they joined Texas Dow Employees Credit Union as an Advisory Board Member and Kynect as a Director. In 2020, they were appointed as a Director for Just Energy and a Special Advisor for Sirius Solutions, LLLP. Most recently, in 2021, they founded and became the managing director of Firefly Energy Solutions and in 2022, they became a Member of the Tri-City NACD membership committee.

Steven Murray began their educational journey at Caldervale High School from 1972 to 1977. Steven then attended Edinburgh University from 1977 to 1981, where they earned a B. Sc. Hons in Chemistry. In 2001, they attended INSEAD for Business/Managerial Economics. Steven is currently enrolled at The Wharton School, where they are studying Finance, General and is expected to graduate in 2022.
