Hayley Charlton

Hayley Charlton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Hayley most recently worked as a Product Manager at Firefly Learning since 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Computer Science at Castle Donington College from 2021 to 2023. Hayley served as the Lead Teacher for Computing at Dawn House School from 2021 to 2021. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as the Director of IT at Denstone College, where they were responsible for developing and implementing the school's IT Strategy. From 2014 to 2018, they held the position of Director of E-Learning and Digital Strategy at Nottingham Girls' High School, where they oversaw the implementation of the school's e-Learning Digital Strategy. Before that, they were the Curriculum Area Leader for IT and Business Studies at Wilsthorpe Community School from 2007 to 2014. Additionally, they served as the Regional Network Leader for Business, Administration, and Finance Diploma at the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust from 2009 to 2010. Hayley started their career in education as an Information Communication Technology Teacher at Swanwick Hall School from 2002 to 2007. Prior to entering the education field, they worked as an Information Technology Lecturer at Derby College from 1999 to 2002. Hayley also has business analysis experience, having worked as a Business Analyst at Royal Mail from 1997 to 1998.

Hayley Charlton completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems at the University of Derby from 1995 to 1999. Hayley then pursued a Master of Science degree in E-Commerce Management at the same university from 2001 to 2002 but later decided to relinquish it in favor of the Graduate Teacher Programme at George Spencer Academy, where they attended from 2002 to 2003. In 2017, they obtained a NLP Coaching Certificate from the College Of Central England Limited.
