Jason Horton

Jason Horton has been working in the technology industry since 1998. Jason began their career as a VB6 Developer at Hyder in 1998. Jason then moved on to work as a Web Developer at Countdown (TasteCard) in 2000 and The Reef in 2001. In 2003, they began working at JustGiving as a Senior Developer/Analyst and Technical Programme Manager. In 2011, they were promoted to Chief Technology Officer at JustGiving. In 2017, they moved to dmg media as Head of Architecture. Jason is currently the Head of Technology at Firefly Learning, a learning platform for schools across the globe. In this role, they are responsible for the direction of the technology, ensuring that best practices in software and cloud are used.

Jason Horton attended the University of Glamorgan from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a B.Sc. (Hons) in Software Engineering with a field of study in Software Architecture and Development.
