John Ball

Head of Customer Success at Firefly Learning

John Ball began their career in 2007 as a Team Leader at Costa Coffee. In 2011, they took on the role of Remediation/Qualification Development Intern at Contaminated Land: Application in Real Environments, where they were tasked with updating core learning materials. In the same year, they also began working as a Server/Supervisor/Food Preperation at Sophie Martin Catering. In 2012, they took on the role of Front of House Staff at HQ Theatres & Hospitality. In 2013, they began working as a GIS Intern at Fluor, where they gained exposure to several international projects and worked with GIS and related software packages. In 2014, they began working at Firefly Learning, first as a Customer Success Manager, then as a Senior Customer Success Manager, and finally as the Head of Customer Success. As a Senior Customer Success Manager, they took a lead on commercial and operational projects and collaborated with other teams in the company to represent feedback from existing customers. As the Head of Customer Success, they focused on supercharging the teaching and learning experience.

John Ball attended Godalming College from 2005 to 2007, where they earned A-levels in Geography, Environmental Science, and English Literature. John then went on to King's College London from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Geography.
