Karl Kristiansen

Karl Kristiansen is the founder of FIREFUND, a Copenhagen-based non-profit initiative established in January 2014 that focuses on secured and anonymous crowdfunding to support global activists and movements. In addition to this role, Karl served as a software engineer at Topdanmark from February 2022 to October 2024 and held the position of Director of IT at Enhedslisten for a brief period in 2021. Previous experience includes working as a Customer Relations Manager at Oxfam IBIS from February 2019 to March 2021 and as a developer at Anthill Agency between September 2017 and February 2019. Karl was also the Vice Chair of the Studenterrådet ved Københavns Universitet from October 2012 to October 2013. Education includes a degree in political science from the University of Copenhagen (2011-2016) and studies in Social Science and Psychology at Vordingborg Gymnasium (2007-2010).
