Jeff McCourt

Jeff McCourt began their work experience in 2009 as an Attorney in the Corporate & Securities, Energy & Cleantech Group at Mintz. Jeff then moved to Benesch Law in 2013, where they became a Senior Attorney specializing in Corporate & Securities. During their time at Benesch Law, they co-founded Ohio's first large cannabis law practice. In 2017, McCourt founded Firelands Scientific, where they currently serve as the Founder & Chief Executive Officer. At Firelands Scientific, McCourt aims to make a positive impact on the well-being of patients, customers, and the community through the production of phytomedicine and wellness products.

Jeff McCourt attended Georgetown University Law Center from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained their Juris Doctor degree in Law. Prior to that, they studied at The Ohio State University from 2002 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government. During the same period, they also completed another Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geography, both at The Ohio State University.
