Kannan Sitaram

VS Kannan Sitaram is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the consumer goods and investment sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Partner at Fireside Ventures since 2021, Sitaram focuses on building next-generation Indian consumer brands. Prior experience includes roles as Venture Partner and CXO Mentor at Fireside Investment from 2017 to 2021, CEO of Innovative Foods Ltd from 2011 to 2017, and Operating Partner at India Equity Partners, where identifying investment opportunities in consumer sectors was a key responsibility. Sitaram has held senior positions at Dabur India Ltd as Chief Operating Officer and at Unilever as VP of Corporate Strategy, among others. Educational qualifications include a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, an Advanced Executive Program from Northwestern University, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
