Joslyn Tarr

Joslyn Tarr is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the VP of Engineering for Platforms at Firestorm since August 2025. Prior to this role, Joslyn held the position of Lead Engineer for IRAD Projects at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions from April 2022 to July 2025. Joslyn's extensive career at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems from March 2012 to April 2022 included positions such as Engineering Director, Engineering Manager, Supervisor of Project Engineering, and Project Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed leading teams, executing rapid development projects, and overseeing aircraft design and engineering. Earlier experience includes work as a Systems Engineer at CSSI Inc, supporting FAA's Next Generation Air Transportation System, and as an Aerospace Engineer at American Dynamics Flight Systems, focusing on UAV design. Academic qualifications include a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, where Joslyn also served as a Teaching Assistant.
