Thamiris Paiva holds a PhD and Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Chemical Engineering Program (PEQ) of COPPE/UFRJ, where research focused on drug encapsulation solutions. With a Bachelor's degree from the Fluminense Federal University, Thamiris engaged in various initiatives, including projects on polymer microparticles and veterinary applications. Currently, they serve as Platform Lead Researcher at the SENAI Institute of Innovation in Biosynthetics and Fibers, overseeing technical and financial management of projects and prospecting new opportunities. Thamiris has also held teaching roles and contributed significantly to polymer science through research and collaboration.
