From Denver, CO, Kirk Oetken brings over 20 years of business administration experience from both the Not-for-Profit Sector and the Payroll Industry to the Firm Connect Team.

Originally pursuing a career in the Not-for-Profit sector, Kirk found that most organizations struggled with simple administrative tasks that would help the organization with day-to-day operations. Parlaying that experience into the business world, Kirk continued to leverage process for performance within the sales arena of the Human Resource and Payroll Industry. Starting his first company at 26, Kirk strengthened his experience within the small and medium sized business market by working with business owners and human resource departments to streamline operations by introducing new processes and technology. In 2007, Kirk started Summit HR and Payroll to move up market, providing resources and technology to larger companies. As CEO of Summit, his vision has been to drive value and excellence to the middle market with new technology.

Teaming up with Firm Connect, Kirk leans on this previous experience to bring new ideas and integrated solutions to their clients and out team. Uniting technology, people, and process defines Kirk’s passion for the banking and payroll industry.
