Javier Alvarado

Javier Alvarado has extensive experience in technical and business development within the fragrance and agrochemical industries, beginning with positions at Rohm and Haas and Dow AgroSciences, where expertise in regulatory affairs and compliance was established. Since May 2005, Javier has worked at Firmenich, progressing from Technical Manager in the Perfumery Division to Associate Director of Technical and Business Development for the MEA region. Responsibilities have included enhancing client relationships, supporting marketing and commercial teams, and innovating product offerings. Javier played a pivotal role in structuring the regulatory area for Firmenich Colombia and establishing communications with regulatory agencies across the Andean Region and Central America. Javier holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes.
