Spencer Arend

Spencer Arend is a seasoned software development and quality assurance professional with extensive experience in automation testing and development. At Firmex since June 2016, Spencer has held multiple roles including Senior Software Developer in Test, Intermediate QA Automation Engineer, and QA Automation Engineer. Prior to Firmex, Spencer worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Parka Group Inc., where responsibilities included maintaining and executing test cases and performing cross-browser testing. Earlier roles include positions at EA Mobile as a Game Designer/Development Tester and as an Assistant Funeral Director at MacKinnon and Bowes Limited. Spencer began their career as a Call Center Agent at Voxdata and held various customer service roles at Medieval Times and Future Shop. Spencer holds a Diploma in Video Game Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology-Toronto.
