Nicklaus Combs

Nicklaus Combs currently serves as Vice President of Threat Management at First Advantage, a position held since April 2025. Prior to this role, Nicklaus worked at SECU as the Head of Threat Intelligence, Offensive Security, and Vulnerability Management from June 2024 to April 2025. Between February 2022 and June 2024, Nicklaus was the Director of Vulnerability Management and Offensive Security at VMware, and from June 2021 to February 2022, served as Director of Security Testing at Baker Hughes. Nicklaus also held the position of Senior Manager for Managed Detection and Response at Carbon Black from May 2019 to July 2021. Educationally, Nicklaus obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Information System Technology from Blue Ridge Community College, completing studies from January 2004 to January 2007.
