Matt Rankin

Matt Rankin, CLFP, currently serves as the Vice President of Education at First American Equipment Finance, a company dedicated to providing financing solutions for the education sector. Since April 2016, Rankin has played a key role in supporting schools with their financing needs. Previously, from January 2017 to December 2018, Rankin was an Advisory Council Member at AASHE, contributing to strategic guidance for programs in higher education. Prior experience includes positions at Sunvestment Energy Group as Vice President and Director of Business Development, focusing on solar energy financial solutions, and as a Renewable Energy Project Associate at Larsen Engineers, where strategic visions for renewable energy opportunities were developed. Rankin also served as a Solar Specialist at VP Supply Corp. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Sustainable Systems from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the State University of New York at Cortland.
