Samantha Wong

Samantha Wong is a Partner at Blackbird Ventures, a role held since September 2015, focusing on ambitious tech companies founded by Australians and New Zealanders. Samantha serves on the boards of several innovative companies, including Harrison AI, Halter, and Safety Culture. In addition to their work at Blackbird, Samantha holds the title of Kauffman Fellow, Class 26 at Kauffman Fellows, and previously served as a Partner at Startmate, where Samantha mentored emerging tech founders. Samantha co-founded and was CEO of CapacityHQ, a marketplace for legal consultants, and contributed to the high growth of SurfStitch as part of the Product & Strategy team. Prior to their entrepreneurial endeavors, Samantha practiced as a corporate lawyer at Minter Ellison. Their academic credentials include dual Bachelor's degrees in Arts and Law from UNSW and a Master of Laws from the University of Copenhagen, complemented by studies in product management at General Assembly.
