Christina Somia-kwaw has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Christina began their career at Universal Merchant Bank in 2010, where they worked as a Trade Finance Officer during their national service. Christina then moved on to the role of Branch Operations from January 2012 to March 2014. In 2014, they joined EnergyBank Ghana Ltd as a Branch Operations employee until April 2017. Since April 2017, they have been working at First Atlantic Bank Ghana. Christina started as a Relationship Officer until April 2018 when they became the Head of Cash Management. In October 2020, they were appointed the Head of Operations at the Osu Main Branch.
Christina Somia-kwaw pursued their education at the University of Cape Coast from 2006 to 2010. During this period, they completed their Bachelor of Education in Social Studies. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they attended the Methodist University College Ghana, where they earned a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance.
