Karen Walter

Karen Walter serves as the Senior Vice President and Director of Community Development and Charitable Giving at First Bank NJ since June 2022, where responsibilities include leading communications, community development, and marketing strategies while providing strategic direction and oversight. Previously, as Executive Director of Historic Yellow Springs, Inc. from October 2018 to June 2022, Karen managed all facets of operations, including P&L, fundraising, and event management for a historic village. Other roles include Director at the Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation, Chief Operations Officer at Malvern Bank, and various executive positions at First National Bank of Chester County, Susquehanna/Patriot Bank, and Sovereign Bank. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and studies in a Master of Science in Child Development from Florida State University.
