Kathleen Ivie

Kathleen Ivie is an experienced educator with a strong background in early childhood education. Currently serving as a First Grade Teacher at Houston's First Baptist Academy since May 2016, Kathleen has previously held teaching positions at Spring Branch ISD, including First Grade Teacher and Kindergarten Teacher. Additionally, Kathleen has worked as a Teacher Assistant, providing in-class support for grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Kathleen began the teaching career as a Student Teacher at Fort Worth ISD, gaining valuable experience in both 3rd and Kindergarten classrooms. Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Texas Christian University.
