Angela Atkins

Angela Atkins has extensive experience in community ministry and programming, currently serving as the Minister of Community Ministries at First Baptist Church of Norman, OK since January 2014, where coordination focuses on serving impoverished, homeless, and at-risk families. Additionally, Angela has co-directed the Kids Hope USA program since 2007, providing mentorship for at-risk elementary students in a local school. Prior professional experience includes a role as Facilities Designer at the University of Oklahoma from 1997 to 2007. Angela holds a Master's Degree in Theology/Theological Studies from Southern Nazarene University (2008-2011), a Master's Degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Oklahoma (2000-2002), and a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from the University of Oklahoma (1991-1996).
