Garrett Funk

Garrett Funk is a seasoned financial professional with significant experience in the banking sector, particularly in small business administration (SBA) lending. Currently serving as a Senior SBA Underwriter at First Business Bank since January 2016, Garrett has progressed through various roles including SBA Underwriter II, SBA Underwriter, Senior Credit Analyst, Credit Team Lead, Credit Analyst II, and Credit Analyst. Prior to this, Garrett gained valuable experience as an SBA Credit Intern at Alterra Bank in mid-2015, assisting relationship managers with loan analysis and presenting financial data for underwriting. Educationally, Garrett holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance & Banking and Real Estate from the University of Missouri-Columbia, completed in 2015, and is a graduate of Blue Valley North High School.
