Paul Douglas

Mr. Douglas joined First Capital’s Board of Trustees in 2019. Group Head, Canadian Business Banking at TD Bank Group since 2004. Mr. Douglas has had a distinguished career at TD for over 40 years where he has held positions of increasing responsibility in a number of areas including retail banking, commercial banking, corporate banking, investment banking, and risk management. Paul has a keen interest in higher learning and served as Vice-Chair on the McMaster University Board of Governors for 12 years including as Chair. Mr. Douglas is the former Chair of TD’s Diversity Leadership Council subcommittee on promoting and enhancing a supportive environment for LGBTQ2+ employees and clients.
