Heri Santiago Diaz

Heri Santiago Diaz, CERP, currently serves as Vice President and Senior Business Risk & Controls Advisor at First Citizens Bank, a position held since August 2018. In this role, Heri has designed and managed the First Line Risk Management Program and conducted peer bank benchmarking to enhance program effectiveness. Previous experience includes serving as a VP and Managing Risk Officer, where Heri established the FRM Program and built 2nd Line Oversight. Prior to First Citizens Bank, Heri worked at Chase from 2006 to 2018, taking on roles such as Branch Control Review Analyst and VP of Field Operations Services. Early career experience includes serving as Assistant Branch Manager at Washington Mutual Savings Bank. Heri holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University.
