Aidan McGarvey is a seasoned professional in the technology and financial sectors, currently serving as the Global Head of Business Modernisation at First Derivative since January 2018. Aidan leads transformative programs that focus on digital transformation and operational excellence, notably automating operations in financial crime remediation and implementing AI-driven regulatory solutions. Previously, Aidan held roles such as Division Lead and Senior Lead, overseeing a large consulting division and driving software implementation strategies. Aidan’s extensive experience in software development began at First Trust Bank, where Aidan contributed to key projects in internet banking and enterprise systems. Aidan holds a degree in Internet and Communications Engineering from Ulster University.
