Donal Keane

Donal Keane has a solid work experience spanning over two decades. Donal started working at RBS Markets and International Banking in 2002, where they held various roles in fixed income operations and production services. During their time at RBS, they managed the onboarding of local entities and introduced a custom data segregation solution into Calypso. In 2011, they became the Global Head of Fixed Income Prodution Services before leaving in 2012.

In 2002, Keane also began working at First Derivatives as a Financial Engineer, eventually progressing to Senior Financial Engineer and Senior Consultant. In 2011, they became the Head of Delivery and Operations for the Calypso Practice, and in 2014, they took on the role of VP of the Calypso Practice. From 2016 to 2020, they served as the SVP of Vendor Services and later as the SVP of Capital Markets Consulting.

Most recently, Keane worked at First Derivative since 2020. Donal served as the Global Head of Business Services, where they successfully implemented a new practice structure and led a team of over 900 consultants. In 2023, they took on the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Donal Keane completed their education in a chronological order. From 1994 to 1998, they attended Imperial College London and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (MEng) in Aeronautics. Following that, they attended Queen's University Belfast from 1998 to 2002 and studied Finance and Financial Management Services. In 2021, Donal obtained certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn.
