Enda Gildea

Enda Gildea is a skilled finance professional with extensive experience in kdb+ development, currently serving as a Manager at Kx, a division of First Derivatives plc, since March 2014. Throughout this tenure, Enda has progressed from kdb+ Developer to Senior kdb+ Developer. Previous experience includes roles at EBS BrokerTec, SGX, and Commerzbank AG, focusing on eFX analysis and server maintenance. Enda holds a Master of Science degree in Computational Finance from the University of Limerick, where a dissertation was completed on the Icelandic financial crash. Additionally, Enda has a Bachelor of Business (Honours) from Munster Technological University and has pursued further education in AI for Trading. Prior to a career in finance, Enda successfully established a wedding videography business and has experience as an undergraduate tutor.
