Andrew Coulter has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.
From 2017 to the present, they have worked at First Descents, initially serving as the Development Coordinator. In this role, they were responsible for capturing a significant portion of the organization's annual budget through fundraising events and grassroots initiatives. Andrew also supported athletes participating in charity events and organized climbing events within the FD community.
Later, they transitioned to the position of Out Living It Project Manager, where they recruited, educated, and supported athletes participating in FD "feature events" and DIY fundraisers. Andrew managed a budget of $4.3 million and developed a DIY Adventure Planning Platform for FD community members. Additionally, they led rock climbing programs for young adults impacted by cancer.
Prior to their time at First Descents, Andrew worked as the Rockies Ride Director at Texas 4000 for Cancer from 2015 to 2016. Andrew also had a brief stint at Uber in 2016 as an UberEATS Restaurant Partnerships Representative.
In 2013, they held multiple roles, including serving as a member of the Camp Texas Executive Team at Texas Exes. Andrew was also a Sports Chiropractic Technician/Office Manager at RunLab and a Head Soccer Trainer at Avila Soccer.
Overall, Andrew has shown a strong commitment to supporting individuals impacted by cancer and other serious health conditions through outdoor adventures and community engagement.
Andrew Coulter attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology. In December 2017, they also obtained a Wilderness First Responder certification from NOLS Wilderness Medicine.
