Riley Schumm

Riley Schumm has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Most recently, they worked at First Descents as a Healthcare Partnerships and Recruitment Manager starting in June 2022. Prior to that, Riley was a Research Assistant at the Butler Institute for Families from September 2021 to June 2022. They also served as a Clinical Social Work Intern at Denver Green School from September 2021 to June 2022.

Earlier in their career, Riley worked at First Descents for almost four years as a Program Coordinator from December 2017 to June 2021. They also gained experience as a Rock Climbing Coach at both Übergrippen Indoor Climbing Crag and Wild Walls. Riley also worked as a Montessori classroom assistant at Montessori School of Denver and as a Climbing Instructor at Avid4 Adventure.

After graduating from high school in 2013, Riley Schumm attended Gonzaga University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Environmental Studies. Following their undergraduate studies, Riley Schumm pursued further education at the University of Denver from 2021 to 2024, working towards a Master's degree in Social Work. Concurrently, they also attended the Colorado School of Public Health from 2022 to 2024, aiming to obtain a Master's degree in Public Health.
