Saad Siddiqi

Saad Siddiqi has extensive work experience in the banking and consulting industries. Saad is currently working as the Commercial and Proposition Head - Mortgages at first direct since February 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at HSBC from 2016 to 2021, including Head of Product (Scale Markets) - Retail Originations, Global Head of Digital Product - Cards, Senior Digital Product Manager, and Senior Business Consultant (Design & Initiation - Digital). Saad also worked as a Senior Consultant at IBM from 2012 to 2016. Saad's earlier experience includes working as an Analyst at KPMG from 2011 to 2012 and as an Associate at Ernst & Young from 2010 to 2011. Saad started their career at Ernst & Young as a Summer Intern in 2009.

Saad Siddiqi started their education at Egglescliffe School, Stockton on Tees from 2004 to 2006. Saad then went on to attend the University of York from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Economics. In terms of certifications, Saad obtained the IBM Design Thinking Practitioner certification from IBM in July 2016. Saad also acquired the PRINCE2® Foundation in project management and PRINCE2® Practitioner in Project Management certifications from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in October 2014.
