DJ Taylor

DJ Taylor has a diverse work experience in various roles within the music education field. They started their career as a Music Teacher at The Episcopal School of Dallas in 2015. They then moved on to become a Music Teacher at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools from 2016 to 2019. Following that, DJ worked as a Music Teacher at Mayfield Junior School of the Holy Child Jesus from 2019 to 2021. They also gained experience as a Trombonist in the band Brazen Brass 5 from 2013 to 2016. Currently, DJ is working as a Software Engineer at First Dollar starting in 2022, where they previously held the position of Junior Software Engineer from 2022 to 2023.

DJ Taylor earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Northwestern University, where they attended from 2006 to 2010. DJ then pursued a Master's degree in Music Education at Southern Methodist University, completing their studies from 2012 to 2014.
