Aaron Ruiz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Aaron began their career in 2010 as a Professor Assistant and Web Content Editor at Tecnológico de Costa Rica, where they worked on the design and development of a web system. Aaron then worked as a Team Coordinator at AIESEC before joining Casagri as a System Administrator, responsible for supporting various technical aspects.
In 2015, Aaron became a QA Automation Engineer at Avantica, specializing in automation testing for Salesforce Lightning Products. Aaron utilized tools such as Appium, Selenium WebDriver, and Java, and performed various types of testing including functional, integration, UI, regression, and API testing. Aaron also worked closely with product owners and project managers to ensure effective communication and development progress.
Aaron's next role was as a Software QA Engineer at Rivet Logic Corporation, where they served as the Automation Team Coordinator. Aaron developed an Automation Framework using Java and Selenium WebDriver, integrated with tools like Apache POI and Jenkins.
Aaron then joined First Factory as a Senior QA Automation Engineer. In this role, they became a Team Lead, overseeing code review for multiple teams and improving best practices for the Automation Framework. Aaron also created automated tests to increase automation coverage.
Aaron also has experience in teaching, as they worked as a QA Automation Teacher at Universidad Cenfotec.

Aaron Ruiz obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
