Luis MacIel

Luis Maciel is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in network security and IT support. Currently serving as a Senior Network Security Administrator at First Federal since May 2015, Luis leads comprehensive network security operations, focusing on robust cybersecurity defenses and promoting cybersecurity awareness. Key responsibilities include managing patch management for the organization's systems, including the VMware vSphere environment. Previously, Luis held roles such as AVP, Network Security Administrator II, and Desktop Administrator, where installation and maintenance of desktop computers were pivotal. Prior experience as an IT Field Service Technician at CompuCom involved providing onsite IT support to multiple retail locations. Luis holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Systems & Cybersecurity from ITT Technical Institute and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at Western Governors University.
