Mark Stevens, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and leadership. Mark is currently serving as a VP/HR Director at First Federal Bank since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Talent Development Officer at the same company from February 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining First Federal Bank, Mark was the Owner, CEO, Coach, Author, and Public Speaker at The Square and the Triangle, LLC, where they provided HR consulting services and coaching to clients across various industries since May 2017.

From 2006 to 2009, Mark served as a Human Resources Business Partner at Target Corporation, where they supported HR operations.

Prior to that, they worked at the American Red Cross as an Assistant Director of Human Resources from 2000 to 2006, where they were responsible for overseeing HR operations in Southern California and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Mark's career started in 1999 at Employers Resource, where they worked as a Co-Employment Coordinator, supporting benefit and employment support contracts.

Before entering the HR field, Mark held various roles at Sears, Roebuck and Co. from 1985 to 1998, including merchandise replenishment and management. Mark was a graduate of the Sears Executive Training Program and their final role at Sears was Sales Manager in Boise, Idaho.

Mark Stevens, SHRM-SCP, obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from George Mason University, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. Mark also holds additional certifications, including the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and SHRM-SCP, which were obtained in February 2018 from SHRM.
