Chief Risk Officer at First Federal Bank

Mike Worthington has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Mike began their career as an Auditor at First Federal Savings Bank in Twin Falls, Idaho in 2002 and worked in that role until 2007. Mike then moved on to Idaho Banking Company where they served as a Controller from 2007 to 2010. Following that, Mike joined the Idaho Department of Finance as a Bank Examiner from 2010 to 2011. Currently, they are employed at First Federal Savings Bank as the Internal Audit Manager since August 2011, and most recently promoted to the role of Chief Risk Officer in October 2019.

Mike Worthington attended Boise State University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2016, they became a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) through the American Bankers Association. In 2020, they obtained the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification from ACAMS. Most recently, in August 2022, they became a Certified Enterprise Risk Professional through the American Bankers Association.
