Joaquin Sosa

Joaquin Sosa is a seasoned professional in media production and education with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Robotics Instructor, IT Support, and XCTF Coach at Eastern Mennonite School since July 2024, Joaquin also holds the position of Resident Photographer at the American Foreign Service Association since 2014. As a Media Specialist for FIRST Global since July 2017 and previously for Istrico Productions and Eastern Mennonite University, Joaquin has contributed to digital content creation, including photography and video production. Joaquin's earlier roles include Lead Photographer at Timber Lake Camp and Video Producer at Chive Media Group, where work focused on digital video channels. Joaquin began a career in journalism as a Video Journalist for The Hill, emphasizing portrait photography and news videography, and has experience as an Outdoor Youth Ambassador for the Sierra Club. Joaquin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Photography and Digital Media from Eastern Mennonite University.
