Tony Ridl

Tony Ridl is a seasoned professional in the vacation ownership and timeshare industry, with an extensive career spanning over four decades. As the Managing Director of First Group ZA since January 1994, Tony holds multiple directorships on various shareblock and body corporate timeshare resort boards, including Southern Sun Timeshare Boards. Additionally, Tony serves as the Chairman of Umhlanga Sands and Breakers Resort and is a director of VOASA. As a co-founder of Flexi Holiday Club, Tony contributed to creating South Africa's first points-based vacation ownership system. Earlier in their career, Tony founded Ovland Timesharing, pioneering the vacation ownership sector in South Africa. Tony Ridl holds a Chartered Accountant degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, earned between 1969 and 1972.
