Wendy Kinchen

Wendy Kinchen is the current Director of IT Operations at First Guaranty Bank. Wendy has over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity and IT management.

Ms. Kinchen began their career in cybersecurity as a Senior Managing Partner and vCIO/vCISO at Transformyx Technology Services, LLC from 2008 to 2022. In this role, they were responsible for designing and implementing cybersecurity solutions forTransformyx's clients. Wendy also played a vital role in the company receiving HITRUST certification.

In 2011, Ms. Kinchen became the Director of IT Procurement/Strategic Sourcing at Amedisys Home Health & Hospice. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the procurement of all IT-related products and services for the organization.

In 2013, Ms. Kinchen joined eQHealth Solutions as their Executive Director, CISO. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's cybersecurity program, including policy development, network security, application security, and compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations. Under their leadership, eQHealth Solutions received HITRUST certification.

Ms. Kinchen joined First Guaranty Bank as their Director of IT Operations in October 2017. In this role, they are responsible for leading the bank's IT team and overseeing all aspects of the bank's IT operations.

Wendy Kinchen has a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Regis University, a Master of Science in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Southeastern Louisiana University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Management Information Systems from Auburn University, and an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Pensacola Junior College. Wendy Kinchen is also certified by the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body (CMMC AB) as a Registered Practitioner, by Rapid7 as a Metasploit Administrator, by the International Association for Six Sigma Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, by LSU Continuing Education as a SQL Server 2012 Business Intelligence Certificate, by ISACA as a Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and by ISACA as a Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT).
